Letter from our firm
To Our Valued Clients and Business Partners,
During this time of uncertainty, our goal is to provide as much stability to you as possible. Like you, we are extremely concerned about the public health impact on our community, the nation and the world, but we are also aware of the enormous potential long-term financial impact on those same communities of ceasing most commerce. We are hopeful that a balanced approach to meeting both needs can be reached as soon as possible.
I want to keep you informed of our current operations and our contingency plans.
Our office is open. We are operating normally from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our services are exempt from shelter in place orders as Essential Financial Services. Additionally, all staff are maintaining social distancing as required. However, we are limiting in-person office visits until the Safer-at-Home order is lifted in Hillsborough County. Please call us in advance if you need to drop something off or pick something up from our office.
Our staff will continue to be available. If we determine it is necessary to work remotely, our staff will continue to be available via Zoom conference, at their normal telephone extensions and via email and Liscio. We have taken the necessary steps to insure as little disruption to our services as possible.
Our online communication tools are always available. We continue to recommend using our online communication app Liscio to send and receive confidential information securely with us and we deliver all tax filings and instructions in this manner. If you have not downloaded the app to your smart phone, we encourage you to so. This phone app gives you the ability to take a picture of documents with your phone and return them to us as a pdf without the need for a scanner. Liscio is available by clicking on the Client Center button at the top of our website, and then choosing Client Communication.
Hillsborough County issued a Safer-at-Home Order. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 an order was issued that applies to all residents of Hillsborough County and was effective as of 10:00 p.m. on March 27, 2020. This order is in place until it is rescinded by the Emergency Policy Group. Click the link below for more details.
We will continue to monitor and provide details below as updates occur that may provide financial or other assistance to you or your business. Please call us if you have questions or would like our input or assistance investigating the availability of these or other options based on your specific facts.
